A friend of mine has always been a big Carlin fan, since way back. He told me that lately Carlin's standup was getting more and more bitter.
I'll always remember his early comedy albums, they were great.

Aw man, this really bums me out. I remember the first time I saw his stand-up.. he was talking about how you could put a bracelet on a mouse and he'll think it's a necklace, and I laughed my ass off. One of the true pioneers of comedy. I'll miss him.
