Congressman Kucinich Needs You to Impeach Bush

A couple of weeks ago, we had a thread about the 35 articles of impeachment introduced by Congressman Kucinich. He is asking for those who wish to impeach Bush to sign a petition on his web site that he will deliver to your member of Congress.

Since we apparently can't chop off the snake's head, maybe we can dig the whole thing up, together with the rotten ground into which it wedged itself.

Does anyone really think an impeachment will happen between now and Jan '09? I don't like Shrub either but I just don't see this happening.

They have to try at least. It's mostly symbolic now (i.e. it should have happened several years ago), but not doing it would basically mean that, after all, he didn't do all that bad, as a president. Which we all know is BS.

He should be discharged dishonorably, -- much like he "served".

I don't know about a shadow government, But I do know that the real power in government is entrenched with those in the bureaucracy /civil service who are intertwined with government and actually run the show over decades.

Take Cheney for instance, he's been around since Nixon and th same with rumsfeld. Always in the background, never elected to shit and always the ones who are manipulating the scene. You can only wonder how many more beneath these two, haplessly amble about supporting their agendas.

So, these 2 and there are many others who are the ones who run the countries that call themselves free democracies. of which there is realy no such thing of course, but as long as the belly is full, the head is happy with it's own emptiness.
