Bit slow getting involved but I just have to have my say as two of the most influential television moments were brought up.

There was the classic simpsons where they join the cult, na na na na na na na na leaderrrrrrr! (entirely relevant to the thread) And peep show which is just genius, David Mitchell is just one of the funniest people on the planet.

Though if anybody wants a recommendation for one of the finest British comedies then check out 'I'm Alan Partridge', it's wet yourself funny

Thanks for the recommendations, both are added to my Netflix queue (looked them up on IMDb, one is 9.4 and the other 9.3, which is ridiculously high, esp. for a comedy, which means they are really damn good).


An idea -- maybe take out "Wudang internal" from the thread title? Maybe just call it "(in after the lock)" or something... Just a thought... That school's name has been dragged around these days quite enough. methinks...

"I am Alan Partridge" is classic.

I would also like to recommend "QI" a comedy quiz show...also "shooting stars" was great but i think it was more for the student crowd
