the rum soaked fist: internal martial arts forum

I have been reading their forum for awhile, there was a guy names YiQuanOne that seemed to know the "internals" well, some regular external guys that think internal is a myth ganged up on him and convinced Gene to Ban him from the forum.

It seems like his forum should be called "External Kung Fu Forum"?,

Do people here post over on that forum?

It seems to be a meathead kind of crowd!

I though Gene Ching Had a "Tai Chi / Kung Fu Magazine" ? why does he promote External way of Martial Arts, is that where the money is?

They banned knifefighter a while ago. That forum has gone downhill lately.

There are just too many trolls in that forum. No matter what discussion subject, it will all end with:

"MMA is good, TCMA is bad."
"Internal Qi is good, external muscle power is bad."

People in between are attacked from both directions. It's a battle field out there. I like to divide people in that forum as:

- IMA guys.
- EMA guys who wish they are IMA guys.
- EMA guys.
- EMA guys who wish they are MMA guys.
- MMA guys.

When a MMA guy argues against an IMA guy, it's just like Mao Zi-Tung argues against Glenn Beck. Everbody in between just shut up because there won't be any room for their opinions (their opinion are neither liberal enough nor conservative enough to carry any weight). No matter what you have said, you are wrong by thier standard from both extreams.

Since most forum members tried to stay away from both extreams, in order to be able to keep the middle majority, both exreams just have to be forced to leave.

What content did YiQuanOne say that was not true? or did you just not understand his posts?

Trolls are people that slander other people because they can not find data or words to back up their narrow view.

I will bet that you never even read any of YiQuanOne's posts and you are just trying to be an ass here.

If you just want to make empty comments you should stay over on Gene's forum, or can you show some content to your opinions?.

It also looks like he was only there about a month, so your comments of" long ago" shows that you have not read his post!

It's OK to believe in Qi but one should not force others to have the same faith. The attitude such as, "If you don't beieve in Qi then I can only show a horse where the water is, but I can't force that horse to drink." bother me. It's just like in Glenn Beck's point of view, everything that president Obama did was wrong.
