RAT

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

TV dramas that run two plotlines in the same episode tell you they cheaped out on production. Scenes assaulting Yeoman Rand and rescuing Lieutenant Sulu from freezing to death can be shot over the needed length and trimmed to fit.
I define internal martial art as unusual muscle recruitment and leave it at that. If my definition is incomplete, at least it is correct so far as it goes.

A microappology is certainly adequate if the offense was microaggression.

The politics of taking offense, and making an accompanying accusation demanding some or other action from others (however frivolous the grounds) is inherently self-limiting.

Once you have accused everyone of something, we are all in this together. That is where the conflagration burns out.

The code of seppuku, the code duello and modern political correctness have points in common. If people are not yet dying over PC they are at least losing their livelihoods.

People doxxed and falsely accused of various ambiguous, indefensible "crimes" sometimes commit suicide.

Does getting offended over some random text messages count?

Sure, so does getting offended at others feeling offended.
It's also ironic now that people want to replace (an ambiguous) political correctness with civility.

For example, is being against pussy grabbing a request for "politically correctness" or being "civil."
If a married woman who complains that a married guy tries to bed her being uncivil?

Hey, my president has succeeded in making Russia and N. Korea equal to the U.S.! Great! Now, we just have to keep it that way.

What about people getting offended if someone says happy holidays?

Obviously, it offends their freedom of religion. It's like taking down the giant plaque of the Ten Commandments.
It's like people being offended at people not standing during the national anthem --while they themselves are lying on the couch drinking beers.

Tsk, tsk, so much fake: like claiming to respect "law enforcement," or being "pro-life," or proclaiming "equal justice for all" (except for immigrants if there too many), or the universal right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Aw, pick a single principle or ideal that makes made America exceptional (and great), and see if it's ever applied. We try hard, though. We put "In God We Trust" on our money. In reality, it means "all others pay cash." Ya just gotta learn to read the language.

My president just sold the country down the river --solely for the sake of his ego. Just watch FOX news.
Apparently, he's also accepted Putin's offer of assistance in the interference investigation. :) :) :)

So, Alex Jones now admits that Sandy Hook actually happened, but that years of him saying it didn't --and calling the grieving parents "actors" --was simply his free speech. Yeah, right. It's not illegal to lie, no matter who it hurts. (There's a joke about the ten commandments in there somewhere, though).

Anyway, f... him.
