he could not pretend not to heal the person - because to detect their blockages he HAD to heal the person, in order to heal his own DETECTION of their blockage!

if, in order to heal, you have to do this, it does not sound - convenient - to me. let's say for the sake of argument that I can't understand spacetime or anthropology or ghosts (probably all true). let's just say (even though this is the BTDT section) that we are on an IMA oriented board, and I'm interested only in push hands (not totally true but a reasonable assumption for these forums). let's also say I never want to see ghosts or understand qubits or make cultural connections. I'm not asking you to stop writing about anything you want to write about, but if I'm only interested in push hands, what does right hand white tiger, left hand green dragon liver mean to you for that narrow topic? Why do I want to have left hand low, right hand high? Why do I want to stand in santishi with right hand high and facing left foot?

What is the evidence that (early) humans lived in the same culture as the San Bushmen ("of no war, no rape," etc.) for the tens of thousands of years prior to 10,000 BCE? Did someone find a way to determine the sexual orientation of the owner of a few bones carbon-dated to 50000 years ago, or whether they raped anyone, or masturbated?

That snake-rock worshipping that went on there prior 10,000 BCE tells about their sex obsession 8-)

Dr. Bradford Keeney calls it "impersonal eroticism" - so it's more like sensuality - when we say "sex" in the West we assume that means ejaculation. The San Bushmen had all the males train in permanent psychophysiological transformation - to have spiritual healing - the Lower Tan T'ien has to be built up first by visualizing fire at the base of the spine - just as kundalini literally means fire in the earth (sacrum).

So we want to call it "culture" but rather the complementary opposites - as the females sleeping on the left side of the fire and the males on the right - this extends to everything in reality just as with yin and yang - and so all the males had to train in "staying power" through trance dancing based on the females singing.

So the music, as I quoted, is older than any language separation - so the Eland Bull dance spiritual training of the females at first menstruation - this goes back to 70,000 years ago - this is the N/om energy - the female at first menstruation is identified with the male Eland Bull since the male bull has the most fat around the heart - and the fat is the source of the N/om, just as the fat is the source of the jing - the cholesterol turning into the neurohormones.

So - Dr. Bradford Keeney has a good pdf on this - the Eland Bull dance ritual with the music as the same in the tribes with different dialects - that means this same spiritual "culture" is from before human language separated - and you pair that up with the snake N/om statute at the Male and Female Hills - dated back to 70,000 BCE - so yes this training is that old.

So it is not just going back to the origin of modern biological history - as those older archaeological remains that left AFrica - did not survive or returned to AFrica. It was the migration of the San Bushmen that spread around the world - around the time of the Mt. Toba supervolcano explosion - but this Eland Bull dance ritual is actually the psychophysiological activation of the First Creation - that's why it's called a rainbow snake as the dream time for the Australian Aborigines - it is from the SAn Bushmen culture.
Re-entry into First Creation: A contextual frame for the Ju/'hoan Bushman

Bradford Keeney, ... Hillary Keeney, ... The Ju/'hoan Bushman origin myth is depicted as providing a contextual ... The latter is regarded as Second Creation.

So this ritual, again, is the Eland Bull ritual with the same music in different tribes in different dialects of the San Bushmen - which means these tribes separated genetically before the dialects separated and yet the music was the same from the original tribe - with the same ritual dance meaning.

The Ju/’hoan Bushman origin myth is depicted as providing a contextual frame that orchestrates and gives meaning to their puberty rites, storytelling, and healing dance. These performances are shown to be an enactment of a reentry from Second into First Creation, the latter an imagined time when the original people could change into animals, communicate with all living forms, and have eternal life without sickness. Here n/om, or the presumed vitality of life, change, and creation, is infused into the community. Empowerment of adolescent passage into adulthood, renewal of mythological potency, enhancement of community relations, and healing of sickness take place inside the performances that dramatize reentry into First Creation. Bushman religion and ceremonial life are shown to highlight the importance of experiences that enact the way changing forms are given primacy over any subsequent naming or indication that stills movement. The latter is regarded as Second Creation. This recurrent passage between First and Second Creation sets the stage for Bushman transformative experience.

N/om, Change, and Social Work: A Recursive Frame Analysis of the Transformative Rituals of the Ju/’hoan Bushmen

So the pdf link is

https://nsuworks.nova.edu/cgi/viewconte ... ontext=tqr

So Dr. Bradford Keeney is the only person outside the San Bushmen to be recognized as a master healer within the San Bushmen community. He was a psychology professor but his grandfather was a minister and Keeney had this spiritual kundalini awakening when he was late in high school - and so he traveled around the world studying shamanism and then now he is focused on the San Bushmen healing.

So they describe how for the male - he bleeds to be like the female at first menstruation since she has the strongest N/om. So just as females are yang internally for Daoist alchemy - the male trains also also be yang internally like a female having her pineal gland synchronized with the lunar energy.

So this is a permanent psychophysiological transformation due to deep right side vagus nerve activation - and the N/om energy has to be transferred into the young male - by the older males or female healers.

That pdf says - the intestine is considered the body part to have the most N/om - this is precisely the same as the small intestine storing the energy of the lower tan t'ien in Daoist alchemy, as I cite in my Idiot's Guide pdf.

So the pdf says - how when a healer is full of Nom then he can no longer speech and so has to sing. The healing songs have meaningless words - the point being that this energy is from before human language developed.

So the whole culture is a psycho-physiological transformation based on the males training in "staying power" due to the sacred female N/om energy - and based on the females singing and dancing - from before their human language ever developed different dialects. The sacred N/om snake energy is therefore the core of their culture - and is indeed ancient.

Dr. Bradford Keeney Does not know anything about what went on around that "snake-rock" and he knows nothing about some "bull-dancing" some 70,000 years ago, it's bull crap 8-)

you can word search the book Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality - that will answer any questions you have.
By way of illustration, when my immortal inhalation
reaches my two heels it has actually gone from the original
cavity of spirit (tsu ch’iao between and behind the eyes)
to the medulla oblongata 2 which is linked with the two
psychic channels starting from the heels.

and

‘Now place the right palm on the left pressing the right
middle fingertip on the dragon cavity (in the left palm) and
the left middle fingertip on the tiger cavity (in the right
palm) thus blocking both cavities. Draw in the genital
organ, shut the mouth, touch the palate with the tongue,
breathe in through the nostrils while rising the eyes from
the left to look up, and then breathe out while lowering
the eyes to look down. This is turning the eyes to drive the
(vital) breath up and down in the nostrils.

and

‘Repeat the same exercise for a second, third and fourth
time to complete thirty-six turns of the eyes in order to
block the channel of the generative and vital forces (at the
mortal gate at the base of the penis). After so preventing
nocturnal emission, practise the microcosmic orbiting to

and

If however
vitality is being lost the practiser should block the dragon
and tiger centres (in the palms) as already explained, raise
the tongue to the palate to link it with the channel of con¬
trol, drive the (vital) breath in and out while rolling the
eyes to push vitality up the backbone and down the front
part of the body.

and

Drive to the head vitality vibrating

And roll your eyes to control (vital) breathing

To cultivate the immortal seed by day

And night so that it rays out light from within the

brain.

and

The heart is the seat of (essential) nature which manifests
through the eyes while the lower abdomen is the seat of
life which manifests through the genital organ.

and

You
should realise that, since the heart is linked with the two
eyes, this exercise in four phases of nine complete turns each
causes vitality in the heart to restrain vitality in the tiger
cavity while you look up to turn the eyes, and to shut the
genital duct while you look up to lift the vital breath. If
so how can the positive principle drain away?

and

There is a method of knowing whether the immortal
seed is mature or not which consists of placing an oil lamp
in front of the practiser whose eyes should gaze at its flame
while rolling them from left to right nine times, after which
he closes them. If a great moonlight appears between the
eyes, as bright as the glare of lightning which neither in¬
creases nor contracts, the immortal seed is mature.

and
It should not
be practised frequently in order to avoid dizziness and
waste of vitality that radiates, for the aim of the practice
is to realise this prenatal vitality and also the manifestation
of this light which is spirit that lies between (and behind) the
two eyes.

and

‘The method of
producing the immortal seed consists of “uniting” the heart
with the eyes for pointed concentration on the lower ab¬
domen so that if vibration is felt there, vitality can be
immediately circulated (in the microcosmic orbit) for
purification, but the slightest carelessness on the part of the
practiser can cause it to drain away thereby nullifying
all previous progress.

and

Both heart (house of fire) and breath should
be frozen in the lower tan t’ien; although the (vital) breath
may leave it occasionally, the heart should never stray from
it. The heart and the pupils of the eyes should always con¬
centrate on that centre until the postnatal (vital) breaths
return and stay there to sustain prenatal vitality which will
nurture and develop the seed that causes the light of the
elixir to manifest. The latter is like a ball of fire, the size of a
bullet, in the lower tan t’ien centre which will become hot

and

When the latter is fully developed the practiser
should turn back his eyes to concentrate on and look into
the lower tan t’ien centre (under the navel) so that the ele¬
ment of fire in the eyes which are above scorches that of
water in the belly which is below, to produce positive vitality
whose light manifests in front of him.

and

The light of the eyes directed downward is positive and when the
positive and negative lights meet, a precious light (pao
kuang) will emerge.

This is like an electric current which, when the positive
and negative poles are joined, gives a bright light, unless
the power supply is deficient.

and

concentrate his eyes on its flame, rolling them from left to right
nine times to vibrate the (positive) vitality in that centre
(between and behind the eyes) so that it drops to the
cavity of (eternal) life (under the navel) already full of
(negative) vitality so that both vitalities unite to thrust open
the original cavity of spirit (tsu ch’iao in the centre of the
brain).

and

Each turn of the eyes causes vitality in the cavity
of life to soar up, spreading to the mouth, eyes, ears and
nostrils which are the seven openings by which vitality
scatters away. Of the seven, the heavenly pool cavity
(t’ien ch’ih) above the mouth is the opening by which the
greatest quantity of vitality drains away. This is why the
loss of vitality due to excessive speaking and singing is
comparatively greater than in other activities.

and

The golden light in the eyes reveals the light of (essential)
nature which illumines the lower tan t’ien (under the
navel), and will in time become golden to show the fullness
of the luminous generative force, vitality and spirit.

and

Since
the practiser now feels that negative breaths are strong
whereas positive ones are still weak, he should now roll
his eyes to let in the latter while driving away the former
in order to remove all obstructions which will then vanish.
Such obstructions are caused by perverse thoughts rising
in the heart (mind) which change positive into negative
(vital) breaths and prevent the three positive lights from
manifesting and the macrocosmic alchemical agent from
developing.

The Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality book has secrets to it that are not fully explained. http://qianfengdaoismuk.weebly.com/how- ... anual.html

It's based on the 1615 book, ‘Principles of Inner Essence and Longevity’

And so in order to properly understand the Dragon and the Tiger in terms of the Lower Tan T'ien alchemy - we need to study the 1615 book.

http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/05 ... heart.html

I just posted this summary of excerpts that reveals a deep secret to the alchemy training.

Otherwise if we just rely on Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality it's next to impossible to understand the alchemical paradoxes of yang within yin and vice versa.

I too roll my eyes on a daily basis but with open lids, slowly and try to focus on what I see during the rolling. I believe it's a good exercise for the eyes/eyesight and it also clear the sinuses,I believe because the muscles of that area are extra activated during the rolling........When I first moved to China I rented a room in a family's home, I often ate dinner with them, whenever we had fish(often) the man in the household wanted to share the eyes of the fish with me he claimed eating fish eyes where very good for the eyesight, he had very thick glasses

So the TAoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality book describes the Tiger energy channel of the right hand as a restraining vein that links the genital duct with the pineal gland and the right side of the heart - the right ventricle. So this is the right side vagus nerve - as the Yuan Qi energy to the right eye but also connected via the vein.

The ocular microcirculatory system consists of a complex network of arteries and veins driven by ocular perfusion pressure (OPP) [4]. Retinal vessel branches are connected to the optic nerve system via the lamina cribrosa structure (LCS), which is meshed with the central retina vein (CRV) and central retina artery (CRA), and so interact with the cardiovascular system. The intervals between heartbeats create fluctuations in the blood flow within the retina, attributed to continuous changes in the sympathetic-parasympathetic balance of the autonomous nervous system (ANS) [5]. We note from previous studies [6,7] that the quantification of such fluctuations is a vital factor in early detection of visual impairments resulting from cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetic autonomic dysfunction and some psychological disorders.

Let's test the Daoist alchemy model - is there is a connection? It looks like it to me.

Central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) is a significant cause of vision ... The ocular ecography showed that the optic nerve head area was elevated with 1.5 mm ...

Autonomic Recovery is a Biomarker for Neuroinflammation Reduction
Dr. Nemechek has noticed that once his patient’s began demonstrating recovery of autonomic function, they also began experiencing recovery from other neuroinflammatory disorders such as attention deficit disorder, chronic anxiety, macular degeneration, central retinal vein thrombosis

So that site posts that vid - autonomic meaning vagus nerve activation.

So I guess you need your pineal gland to get activated first before you feel the rolling of the eyes activating the lower tan t'ien at the central channel connection....
