I agree that it's not a great way to teach anything. But, iinm, you started the condescension with your rant about Jordan Peterson and his amazing academic background etc...Although, I'm sure some on that thread didn't really find it all that condescending given comparable or superior educations some have (if you want to hold institutional reputations aloft as it seems you did at that time).

However, my intent in dealing with right-leaning "free thinkers" on public sites has never been to convince or teach them. Rather, it has always been damage control. Confront the BS. Share information. There are others who read these interactions and I get plenty of messages from folks thanking me for piping up, not that I need any encouragement.

I'm all for global peace. I also don't have much of anything against smut so long as exploitation is kept in check. Maybe it can help us get to a peaceful place.
