this is why i want Stephen Yan back

The following typical threads that plague martial arts sites will get moved here if not just deleted: 1 - My style is better than Your style" - 2 - "Internal & External" - 3 - Personal attacks - 4 - Threads that start well, but degenerate into a spiral of nonsense.

SFM I apologize for my frustration. I'll adhere to the advise that is often posted here..."if you don't like a thread then don't read it."

Juan, it takes a big man to acknowledge they are inferior to me. Cheers for that.

ok that's a joke. i appreciate your attitude. but if you shit on my posts ever again you will be punched in the butt crack. by Tom most likely.
if it doesn't make sense, it's because I'm "typing" with Swype or using android's voice to text, which is pretty damn good by the way

I miss Dr. Yan because we've had a real paucity of threads that degenerate to the point they not only get sent to BTDT, but locked as well.

Just to help, (insert name here) is an illiterate cult-brainwashed sychophantic delusional wannabe whose shit is fake and whose teacher is a drunk, and my style is the best.

Warmest love and kind regards,
B-

isn't it nice when people come out and say what most others here really think?

Most others, really? How do you know what "most others here really think"?

I think Stephen Yan previously mentioned how Chen Zheng Lei wouldn't push hands with him, with the implication that Chen Zheng Lei was scared/recognised Stephen's superior skill and made some excuse to avoide pushing hands with Stephen. This was in one of the threads way back that also ended up in BTDT.

But I also remember reading this from another forum.
http://www.chenwired.com/forums/index.p ... 600.0.html

I would take video evidence any day over some guy's stories about travelling China's countryside defeating master's of all descriptions from other styles. But to each his own.

And if you read the article that Stephen Yan writes about Yan Long Chan...with all of its contradictions...that is exactly why it's good that he got banned.

Well, it looks to me as if Stephen Yan is back, since the mere mention of his name has already spawned four separate thread topics thus far. Sheesh! ::)
How much more free publicity do we really need to give him here? ???

Enough is enough already! :-\

Is it possible to simply ban any thread topics related to Stephen Yan, and then be done with all this BS once and for all? :P

refresh my memory, didn't you reply to several dozen of his posts? now that your argument w/ him is done everyone else should be done discussing w/ him too?

Of course, I did indeed debate with Mr. Yan on several different threads prior to his being banned from this forum through his own doing. However, he is no longer posting here, and those debates are long since over and done with. That was then, and this is now! ;)

As such, if you wish to discuss any of the personal views which he passionately promoted while he was here, perhaps it would be best to contact him directly for further conversation. And if you are merely attempting to promote Mr. Yan by reintroducing his name and his views here again now, please spare us your efforts to do so. It's all been said before at great length and in excruciating detail. Once again, enough is enough! :-\

to muzzle the forum is not a good thing. we try not to ban any topics unless they are 1) porn, 2) snuff, or 3) blatant trolling.
if people want to discuss yan, fine. but it'll be here, in BTDT. and only to a certain degree.

i read through that entire Wu Fast Form thread and i noticed that stephen seemed interesting enough to make marcus brinkman post. actually it got a lot of people who have some good shit to say, but do so infrequently, to post.

Oh dear lord, someone please lock this thing already... ::) -puke-
(I know, "don't like it -- don't read it", but it's got his name in the thread, so I can't help seeing it every time I go to check out the TNT goodness. :P :))
