隔空沾黏 Sticky in the air

I liked his walking.

The kong jin thing...meh. Does it say who he is or what he's doing in any of that text?

S- Can't read that Chinese stuff.

It's quite easy. But to learn how you need to buy a special orange shirt (only $2000). ;D

I think the one with the gongfu is the student, who clearly is masterfully cooperating ^_^
Anyhow, it might also be the case that he uses some form of hand hypnotic trickery of sorts, getting her off-balance...

Yeah, he must be using covert hypnosis techniques on the students, which are less obvious than what was shown in the hypnosis video above, or maybe magnetic innersoles in their shoes! ;D -shrug-

i've never experienced lin kong jin but experieced delayed or pass through force. i.e. i was hit lightly in the chest and felt the impact out my back. other times ive been hit on the top portion of the body and it causes the breaking of my root below.

Used to workout right around there, looks like the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. Someone over there in Taipei should go down and check him out and report back. Probably only works on his 'advanced' students though ;D

I did hang out with a certain Qigong teacher for a year and he would do stuff like lingkong jin, pulling his students all over the place. It never worked on me however, they said I wasn't advanced enough in my qi development, oh well. My bet is it was some sort of hypnotism, either way not much use in a martial context.

I second what Henry said. I've felt some crazy strange force over the years, but always involving physical contact.

Looks like student conditioning to me - my first teacher did a lot of this knd of thing, though again it only worked on the "select" few

ok,
anyone touched/blessed by teacher/rinpoche from "high shelf" doesn`t questioning energy transmission/readings etc., any more
but
martial aplicaton such abylitys is only possible on shen kung level

video, like many before just shows
simply" mind trick" :)
and it doesnt`t work for everybody `cause it work like jonathan.b noticed /hypnozis works not so ofen aka - needs for a yearss of practise some ezoteric qigong system.../

uh - oh ...a kong jin vid....I sense a few admins with the feet hovering over the BTDT garbage can pedal ...

I've met contemporary wushu guys that could do that to their own students but never on anyone else. Same guys that would break plastic chopsticks on their throat *cold shudder....that's so 'deep'* </sarcasm>

one of my instructors did something to me when I was about 20 - I was sitting on my ass on the floor (knees against my chest) and he walked into the room from behind me, placed his open palm face down on my shoulder (fingers splayed wide open) and lifted me so high off the floor my feet left the ground.
he talked about finding a water well that a girl has drowned in and doing a qi gong exercise over it every night at midnight for 3 months to absorb her yin energy - he also said he 'never completed the training' - but he dropped that excuse a lot on amazing things that he could do as a way to downplay his abilities.
I've read about water qigong that matches the exercise, but they neglect to mention the yin essence of a woman must be in the water to be absorbed. I had another shifu teach me a qigong you do by the ocean where you 'reach out' energetically and rock the ocean back n forth.
