Too bad I can’t see the vid. Since I’m a Swede it would be fun to see what this fellow Swede‘s doing. Any chance it can be found on the Chinese tubes?

Just a lot of hard conditioning, basic stuff. You would be disappointed if you expect anything that looks like Monkey Style. :-\

Here's the next vid:

It seems that the hard qigong and conditioning is what they specifically wanted to learn about, and they were only there for a week. It's too bad they weren't more into the martial aspects and/or didn't have more time. I would have liked to see how the jibengong tied into the actual fighting system.

Overall, though, I found it pretty interesting. It showed a lot more depth than is typically seen in videos that touch on hard qigong.

My first Taiji teacher had been to Japan to further his karate(Kyokushin) studies. On his way back to Sweden he thought to make a brief stop in Taipei and after that a quickie to India to meet his yoga teacher and then Sweden. On his first day in Taipei he met an teacher of “eagle claw” GongFu that agreed to show him some of his GongFu the next day, but the next day no eagle was around instead my teacher came to study with a sword master and his brief stop became a couple of months.………The more adventurous way seem more fun than the tourists way

I think they're fitness guys, not martial artists. Here's the website: https://www.vahvafitness.com/

Wonder how Monkey Kung Fu fits into what is shown in these vids... :-\

I also wonder about that teacher's background and what entitle him to be called "master". :P

He loves Monkey kungfu and devoted his life on it.
And he also learn Dai Xinyi as well, anything Monkey.

Special force, sound “special”……but Swedish “special forces”? But if he’s into Daishi Xinyiquan and teaching that in Sweden, that’s a little special anyway.

Now that website opened. They’re Finnish guys, I don’t know how “deep” into the East Asian(Chinese) MA’s they have so far managed to go in such a short span of time. But I like their “Sisu” of traveling the world experiencing/exploring ways of body training methods......

Yeah they are Finnish, not Swedish. Actually i just saw this dude training in our local sports hall last week, just after i saw those videos. I think they are just some fitness guys, not martial artist. This "monkey kungfu master" was few years ago featured in one Finnish TV-show called Kill Arman. In that show this guy "Arman" who is not a martial artist (he is taylor and tv host) went to train with different martial artists around the world for one week and after the week fought the master (or his student). This monkey master really seems to enjoy hurting other people... :D
