What Bao and Trick suspected, a rather humble statement.
Modern practitioners are a riddle to me, some don't really read Chinese, think of self praising, others would understand similar statements of older masters about their worthlessness as lacking skills, while in fact they only were polite.
Language skills (modern/classical) and cultural immersion would help a lot, but to understand CMA, such seem unnecessary for many, lol!

its interesting cause the "sparring" pics of LYX ive seen are seemingly of taijiquan PH style (are there any videos of LYX around?)
