This is a very thorough breakdown of my fight with Corey Guns at the world famous underground fight club, Streetbeefs. From a tactical standpoint and a storytelling standpoint this fight is one of the greatest and most underrated fights in Streetbeef's history, in my very biased opinion

I enjoyed watching this as well. Laughed at his description of showing his sparring partner "old man strength."

There are some nice moments in here, and some good advice! Remembering to breathe, how to deal with a sparring partner who is dialing up the intensity (without calling off the round), remembering that composure doesn't mean not getting hit - it means not letting it rattle you and sticking with your plan, making them do what you are good at ("funnel them to your stuff") and avoiding what they are good at, all nice reminders of stuff that is easy to forget in an adrenal state.

Thanks for sharing this, Marvin. This is a great breakdown and nice connection to the first video (here Mike shows many of the things he talked about in the first video in a more "live" environment.) He also talked about the role plain ol' strength played in breaking the posture of his larger opponent, and was on point at 5:20 re: setting up secondary shots. Really fun to watch.

Thanks again, gents!

Best,
Greg

For what its worth...

I always like this blokes clips; Funny, down to earth and great clarity on the subject at hand. Knows enough to not lay in to absolutes where there are non.

Good stuff.

Here is a recent Saenchai sparring with voice over.

Grab Saenchai's Muay Thai Secrets === http://bit.ly/SaenchaiSecrets

Sparring Saenchai is like playing basketball with Michael Jordan... but instead getting dunked on, you get cartwheel kicked in the head.

Saenchai is arguably the greatest Muay Thai fighter of all time, so it was an absolute honor to be able to spar and learn from him. During this Muay Thai sparring session he used just about every signature technique that you're used to seeing from him; question mark kick, flying teep, cartwheel kick and other antics Saenchai is known for.

If you want to learn the techniques and philosophy of Saenchai, be sure to check out his Muay Thai Secrets video course === http://bit.ly/SaenchaiSecrets:

Turning into a big fan of hard2hurt. Loved the episode where he entered a BJJ comp and had to contend with GUARD PULLERS >:@ >:@ >:@
