Come on Brian...Ehrr...Grahame !, sing along and whistle with Eric Idle

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly, chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing

Always look on the bright side of life
.

Hahah. Check out the demographic in the crowd. ;D

Also, no sign of Boris outside Downing Street - nothing. No fireworks, nothing. Pre recorded message released on Facebook instead.

He hid inside No.10 all night. Almost like he doesn't really want to own it... or maybe he just doesn't give a toss? He got what he wanted out of it. Let the proles wave their flags while I sip a nice brandy by the fire and plan my memoirs...

Wayne Morgan shares his wisdom and the reasons we are leaving the EU. Watch and learn. I think that interview sums it all up nicely :)

I have been checked out on the discussion since page 16. With all the talk of democracy winning did anyone ever get around to talking about the rights of the clear majorities in Scotland and Northern Ireland who voted remain. 'The United Kingdom of England and Wales' is a possible future once the next step of the trade agreements are finished at the end of the year.

Which "demographic"? Not sure what you mean.

Yes, you've been clucking about UK's falling sky for years:

peck...peck...peck...We're watching the start of the break up of the United Kingdom right now.

Within 2 years Scotland will be gone, then Ireland will unify. All because of a spat within the conservative party that got out of control. What a waste. The sad thing is people are too stupid to see what's happening. One guy was just on TV saying he didn't think his vote really mattered so he voted leave as a protest. He didn't think it would actually happen, and now he's really worried. I wonder how many others there were like that?

I say we go full retard now and legalise guns and have open carry laws. Might as well go all in.

GrahamB wrote:Yeah, screw them. Coming over here and paying taxes so we can afford a welfare state. Pft!

Now we all have to eat sprouts and porridge for a year because granddad doesn't like Polish people working Tesco. Fucks sake.

But the real shit show is going to be Northern Ireland. Back to guns and balaclavas there. Just wait till the bombs start dropping on the mainland.

I wonder if it will still be "worth it" then?

This is never going to end.

I mean, have you ever listened to yourself?

Are those things you clucked about above one of the reasons you, Graham, live in that "post-truth world" you referred to in your most recent thread?

Hey Bruce,

This thread started in 2016 - why are you pulling up quotes from me from 3/4 years ago and posting them now and out of context? And mixing in quotes from another thread? What’s your purpose?

Personally I’ve greatly enjoyed all the Brexit related festivities. Good on Farage seeing it through. The ninny state behavior of the Eurocrats was both predictable and entertaining.

As a free trade zone the EU had it right.

Beyond that everything went off the rails. You can’t have a common currency between unequal countries in terms of development. The inclusion of Greece, and Spain, as an example were mistakes from the beginning.

The true fascist impulses of the EU went on full display with their desire to regulate within individual countries. Sorry lads, but most of these countries threw off the unaccountable rule of the nobility decades ago. No point in returning to that nonsense.

I’m just waiting to see who the next defectors are.

Just showing that the auguries of your doomsday haven't lived up to the hype. Even back when you wrote them, I detected notes of post-truthing.

Regards your other post; which demographic?

Oh, it's still on course to happen. Don't worry about that. Have a little patience :)

The demographic of the crowd? Just use your eyes. Old and white.

If you want another demographic then my Facebook feed is currently full of middle aged, angry white men with tatoos who are suddenly very concerned about the soveriengty of Gibraltar.
