In SC, the solo training is the partner training without partner. What I don't understand is why the other CMA systems don't follow this guide line.

My thought also.
Sure, there are countless people who go through Tai Chi forms with no idea that you're actually doing partner training, or with a very unrealistic or romantic idea of how the moves and body conditions relate to partner training or fighting. But the system itself is designed to do just that, and if you train your partner stuff with some degree of realism and practicality, the forms help generate a positive feedback loop in your training.
Do not make the mistake of giving up the near in order to seek the far.
