Tongbei and Tak Wah Eng

Postby lenmccoy on Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:39 am

In his book "Journey of a Martial Arts Master" Tak Wah Eng on pages 55-61 has a form he calls Shaolin Tongbei Fist. Is this Tongbei? I know the word Tongbei shows up in unrelated martial arts. I believe fan through back in tai chi is shao tong bei. Don't see anything in book indicating Master Eng studied Tong bei quan. Interested in what the experts think, Thank you Len McCoy

Tongbei basic training:

Crow weep in the dark. Tide bellow in the north wind. How lonesome the world.
