In some of your drills, the grinding step of your rear foot and the positioning of your front foot is exactly like some of the baji da qiang work we do.

Indeed, as my teacher says, good spear methods are universal between differing systems

I don't know xingyi or spear, but I really enjoyed your video. It seems clear to me where the 5 elements come from when watching. Also, the video looks darn good, too.
