Liuhe Bafa is derived from an old Shaolin system and is a mix of traditions. The exercise itself in the LHBF vid resembles Daoist Daoyin more than any traditional Buddhist exercise.

I have come across a family inherited art which is very similar to LHBF in the way it moves, and its core principle. The art is from Shaolin Temple at the time of Yue Fei. Their training methods, principles, herbal formulas, and others are kept in a book which is very very old even from the look of it.

Did you mean that you had a look at the original book, or is it published somewhere?
