The funny thing is that BLM --as an organization, at least-- started long before 2016. Unrest over police brutality go back at least to the 90s, and Rodney King. Trayvon Martin protests happened during Obama's terms. The blatant fact is that all this has blown up since Trump's election, and his warm support for the KKKermit/Qanon/Klub. It wasn't happening when there was a Black president. If Trump is reelected, it'll get worse.
Well, frankly, he said he'd make America great, and other than Wall Street, we're obviously not even as good as we were. And, we were told how bad off we were before he got in office. Anybody who believes different hasn't been affected by the pandemic. Anyway, there's no doubt that the right wing will emphasize how violent the left is simply a way to justify its own violence. It's the same tactic of generating fear and insecurity. It'll exist whether Trump wins or loses.
Anyway, "BLM' is just an idea that can't be afraid, let alone be destroyed. It's like "All men are created equal" and "Equal justice under law" and all those other good ideas that have been rejected. Or, better yet, that people have come to see are just as fake as a comb over or claims of stable genius.
"A man is rich when he has time and freewill. How he chooses to invest both will determine the return on his investment."
