I think many of today's youth born after tvs were in every room find it very hard to live just with themselves. Many of my generation had to use our imaginations even when we played with friend. And, with no tv, amusing oneself required a lot of imagination. This may be the best chance to meditate or write a novel or do all sorts of stuff. It ain't an obstacle; it's an opportunity.

I started writing a play about the end of the world last night. But we're still here.
