This one may be actual worth watching..

Edit. Boxing rules, sounds like an exhibition match so maybe scrub my comment above.

DK Yoo is obviously a few notches above TCMA frauds like Ma Baoguo and Leilei, but from what I can gather, he is still more of a MA instructor who mainly demonstrates his skills on cooperative students -- as opposed to a fighter who constantly trains against resisting opponents in live formats.

It'll be interesting to see how he fares against Xu. Who knows? Maybe the guy can actually fight! ;)

Why? Is there pay per view? What is the incentive to watch?

I like the fact that Yoo is openly willing to participate in such a bout. He has much more to lose if he doesn't make a good showing than Xu does, as his Rice Bowl would be permanently broken. Ditto for anyone who has name fame and success. :-\

Waiting to see a match with Adam Mizner and Xu Xiaodong. Adam needs a rude awakening especially after repeated videos like how to avoid a wrestler takedown and bragging online like that he has never been taken down. Duh you haven't been taken down, your a sheltered nincompoop.

There's a tv credit card commercial which asks the burning question "what's in YOUR wallet?" It's a fair question for martial arts practitioners, too. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary demonstrations validating said claims. Invariably, fakes and phonies claim to have skills which they never personally demonstrate and never teach to their students, because they don't actually possess them. :-\

Those who enjoy fame and fortune from their teaching, regardless of whatever that may be, usually have very little, if anything at all, to gain in accepting challenges from others who have less to lose if they are defeated. It seems reasonable, therefore, that most famous teachers would be reluctant to cross hands with everyone who wants to test them. ::)

They may need a better reason to risk engaging in serious fighting than simply satisfying someone's curiosity about their real skill level. It may be a professional payday for some people (i.e. pro fighter, pro bodyguard escort, pro security personnel, etc), or only to defend themselves, their loved ones, or their property for others. Just saying. What do you have to lose? :-\

Both his weight and build will put him at a disadvantage, also not seen any evidence of anything but his striking.
Feel he would be in trouble as soon as Xiaodong has him in the clinch, perhaps why it appears to be a boxing match.

To be honest, Xu isn't all that great of a fighter either. The opponents he has demolished publically so far are mostly fake masters who can't fight their ways out of a paper bag. IMO, he relies more on aggression than skill to win.

Exactly.

...which means that it would be all more embarrassing to lose to Xu. Yoo would be labelled as just another "fake master who can't fight his way out of a paper bag." ;D
