Another way of looking at it...one that you would feel if there.
His movements were based on the others "intention" making his movement always ahead of the physical
movements of their body....
At no time is their more then 4oz, acting on his body,,,at this level of interaction...
People laughed as they fell into emptiness

At the highest level of martial arts, there is no longer Peng, Tsai, Ji, An. Shapeless and Formless, the whole body is as if empty and porous.
1. 練太極拳的第一個要求是,上下相隨,動無一處不動
One. The first requirement in learning Tai Chi Chuan is to coordinate (harmonize) the upper and lower (of your body). When you move, every part moves.
If you watch his movement, there is very little to no loading as he throws the other person.
The other person is reacting for the most part, to the center being moved .
The movements continued after contact an attempt to recover balance.
In our practice this what is meant by one part moves, every part move…
It was fun,
although at times frustrating, as his method of teaching was to allow one to feel "it" and then he would guide one in the process
of understanding the what and how,,through practice.
He didn't talk much,,
