And I don’t really understand why you would want to tense up when you block a punch. And even more so as you don’t want to take a stance. If you keep tension you will be top-heavy, unbalanced and your punch will lack strength.
But I do start to understand why you couldn’t embrace the spirit of Tai Chi and I see more clearly why Systema is not IMA.
