Mr. Bai Yuxi, a renowned martial artist, honorary president of the Beijing Wushu Association's Li-style Tai Chi Quan Research Society, and president of the Beijing Chongwen Huitong Wushu Society, was born in Beijing in 1933.
He is a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner at the Institute of Orthopedics, Chinese Academy of Chinese Medicine.
Since the establishment of the Huitong Wushu Research Society in Beijing in 1947, Mr. Bai has been practicing traditional martial arts, including fist techniques, weapons, and Li-style Tai Chi Quan (Tai Chi Five-Star Punch), under the guidance of Master Gao Ruizhou, becoming one of Master Gao's most outstanding and proud disciples. He assisted Master Gao Ruizhou in teaching and training a group of outstanding martial arts coaches and athletes such as Wu Shuqing, Zhao Shuqin, Zhou Shiqin, and Ma Jinlong at the Huitong Wushu Research Society. In 1953, he participated in the North China Wushu Competition, where his performance of Li-style Tai Chi Quan (Tai Chi Five-Star Punch) won an outstanding award.
After the passing of Master Gao Ruizhou, Mr. Bai began learning Wu-style Tai Chi Quan from the renowned master Xu Zhiyi in 1960, mastering its essence and becoming a comprehensive inheritor of Master Xu Zhiyi's Tai Chi skills. For many years, he served as the head coach of the "Century Wushu Hall" in the Philippines, actively promoting Li-style Tai Chi Quan and Wu-style Tai Chi Quan both domestically and internationally, attracting numerous students. The Tai Chi Quan practiced by Qian Xinzong, former Minister of Health of the People's Republic of China, was personally taught by Mr. Bai Yuxi.
In his later years, Master Bai Yuxi returned to Beijing and settled down, dedicating himself to promoting Li-style Tai Chi Quan, Wu-style Tai Chi Quan, and various traditional martial arts techniques and weapons.

@windwalker, am pretty sure he is now living in Beijing (after living + teaching overseas for many years). I have tried to contact 2-3 students of his via the people uploading these videos but with no luck.
